Each year, I look forward to Kroll releasing their predictions for what will be important in the privacy industry over the course of the next year. They have such a great handle on the state of affairs that I wonder if they have a psychic working for them half the time. If they don't, I really have no idea how they are always so dead-on-accurate.
For 2013, Kroll is pointing to the data we don't know we have in our possession as a huge liability, and predicts there will be far more reported data breaches this year than in previous years.
They also seem to be taking some enjoyment out of poking at the Twilight fans out there, but who can blame them for that?
