Just a Reminder: Check Your Credit Report

The months from October through January are the top shopping months of year. Even though this holiday season is likely to see lower consumer purchasing than previous years, that's no reason to let your guard down. You should still monitor your credit report--quarterly.

That said, if you didn't check your credit report in October, do it right now. If you haven't already gotten your free report from AnnualCreditReport.com, request it today. If you have, spend the extra money to request it from the three major credit reporting agencies.
