New Threats at Every Turn

About.com's IM Guide, Brian De Hoyos, is tracking a couple of new threats to your identity, including one that utilizes Yahoo's web-based IM program, and two new Apple threats. The Apple threats are most surprising, because traditionally, Apple -- and therefore Mac users -- are much safer than Windows-based programs.

This brings to mind a question based on Internet security. Can you remain safe from identity theft if you're a regular Internet user? You can, but it requires being diligent.
